August's Meeting

A t the August meeting we will look at the rest of the construction of the end table for the Wood Carvers show. The next step will be finishing the table and final assembly.

Remember to bring in items or photos to show what other projects you are working on.

July's Meeting

 J uly's meeting we looked at the beginning of the top for the table. Jeff showed the circle cutting jig he had made for the router. Stephen had cut the sliding tapered dovetails for the legs in the base. There were several issues with omissions in the plans over how to complete the jig setup and use for this process.

Toy Challenge

A new challenge has been set. Please make a toy to present at the December meeting. If you wish it can be donated for our toy drive.

Parking Reminder

P lease park in the Best Buy lot and walk across Brookpark Rd. for our meetings. This will leave space for Rockler's customers who are running in to pickup an item in the evening. Handicap parking is available in Rockler's parking lot.
